Barney Flats Oatmeal Stout

With a think, dark head and perhaps the most opaque coloring in the stout world, this is one of the darkest brews we tried. The aroma entices the nose with an initial smokiness layered by hints of roasted barley. The combination of a slight malt sweetness and creamy smoothness are accentuated by just enough hop bitterness to carry off an extremely well-rounded beer that is enjoyable for both the seasons connoisseur and the newcomer of the craft brewing world. |
