Sweet George's Brown

Damn, this is a good beer. Sweet George's Brown pours a beautiful mahogany color with a slightly off-white head. A mild caramel aroma gives way to a creamy and smooth flavor straight out of the bottle with a light hop flavor accented by roasted notes. There's just a touch of grain that is evident, but it is not terribly distracting. The body is fairly thin, but comes off well (not watery). This beer's soft, sweet flavor lingers even after you get to the bottom of the bottle. |
