This beer is a blend of two vastly different styles, which makes it so hard to consider from a tasting standpoint. At first, it appears to be an ordinary Belgian Quad, at least insofar as any such brew can be considered ordinary. But once the aroma hits you, you will certainly notice a difference. This beer has been blended with Lindeman's Kriek, which is a Belgian lambic-style brew that has been infused with cherries. The result is a creamy elixir that has the strong traditional Belgian notes melding wonderfully with the slightly sour cherry flavors. The cherry aroma is mild but is held up wonderfully by the excellent head. All in all, this is a unique brew that we look forward to aging an enjoying for years to come.
