In the beer world, brewers are constantly trying to achieve harmony between their ingredients, and Full Sail seems to have mastered the balancing act. The aroma of this winter ale has some significant hop notes coming through, as well as a noticeable yeast presence. That might make you think that the hops will also control the flavor, but that's not the case: The malt takes the lead and doesn't stop dominating (though the hop flavor is certainly not lacking). The carbonation is nearly perfect, and overall, this is one beer that would be perfect for drinking in front of a crackling fire. |
