This small, independently owned brewery always makes a quality brew. From its malty bocks to its half lemonade-half weizen shandy, this brewery always seems to put out a product we would be happy to drink. This brew starts off with banana scents and even a slight hoppy character that lingers well in the aroma. The color is brilliant gold with some delicate amber highlights and a medium opaqueness. The moderate body fits the style well and complements the vanilla and citrus flavors that dominate the taste. Also notice the plentiful fruity esters found throughout this beer; they last well into the finish. |
