Hefe-Weissebier Hell
|
When a brewery is bought out by one of its competitors, it is possible that the beers may lose some of those intangible qualities that made them great. This obviously didn't happen with Franziskaner's. When Spaten bought this brewery, its products only got better. This hefeweizen starts out with some serious clove aromas and is backed up by banana and apricot tones. The body is filling but not thick and makes this beer one of the easiest to drink in this style. The flavor is similar to the aroma and makes you want to try the rest of Spaten's roster. |
