With the organic beer market exploding, it is always nice to fall back on a reliable brewery you know is going to produce a consistent, quality beer. This American amber starts off with very robust biscuit aromas, and many toasted flavors are present in the swallow. The hops in this brew are fresh with a citrusy, grapefruitlike flavor. The body is hearty yet still has a thin finish -- perhaps a bit too thin for the stronger hops, which linger at the end of the swallow. |
