This beer opens with soft wheat aromas with hints of citrus and malted barley. Once you take a sip of this brew, you will instantly notice the lemony citrus flavors in the front of the beer. The flavors are strong for the style, but fortunately, there is quite a bit of spiciness in the start to balance out the strong citrus. Hops are absent in both the aroma and flavor, and the body of the beer is medium to medium-light. Ballast Point is a newer players in one of the country's most beer-friendly towns, and we'll happily continue to drink this fine wit. |
