Awards should be given to beers that make you miss mom's home cooking this much. Spices and pumpkin float out of the glass as you pour this beer, and there is a soft smell of hops that makes its way through all those stronger aromas. The flavor follows suit, as there seems to be an almost irresistable urge to continue drinking this beer. If the pumpkin flavors were any higher, this brew wouldn't be as appetizing, but because there seems to be the perfect amount of melon and spices in this brew, the result is close to perfect. Hop flavor is moderate, but bitterness is low. Get this full-bodied brew quickly; Shipyard makes it available only through October. |
