Pumpkin Ale

This is one of Buffalo Bill's seasonal ales, and it sure has made its mark on pumpkin-flavored ales. The brewery's Pumpkin Ale is widely distributed and has a devout following among beer lovers throughout the country. Spices of cinnamon, clove, and nutmeg make this brew smell precisely like a sweet slice of pumpkin pie. The pumpkin flavor is strong and could be better balanced with malt flavors, but it is nice considering the pumpkin is sometimes played down in this style. Spicy, fresh hops finish off this brew wonderfully. |
