Mongoose IPA is a great beer to sit an relax with because no part of it is too shocking on the tongue. It pours with a thick head and appealing orange/amber color. The aromas of grapefruit and pine mark the beginning, and although they aren't vibrant for the style, they do last into the aftertaste. As you drink you may notice minor metallic notes that draw your attention away from the initial malt. Eventually, the hops kick in and leave a drying taste on the back of your tongue. |
