Cream Stout
|
St. Peter's Cream Stout is black in color, with mahogany hints showing when held up to the light, and a frothy, brown head. The beer displays a light roasted barley character, with subtle lactic notes and no hops to speak of. The beer's taste is strongers than the aroma, with a deeper roasted barley quailty that saturates the mouth from lips to throat. The roastiness is pleasant and not overpowering, and is balanced with a sweet malt flavor. The cream stout is medium bodied, gently carbonated, and goes great with grilled oysters. |
