ABV: 5.0%

RATING
85
While hardly a nationally recognized name at this point, Snake River has been a local favorite for years, winning hearts and awards along the way for its masterfully crafted beers. This pilsner pours straw in color and slightly hazy with a frothy white head. Its aroma is wheatlike, mildly tart, and with a distinct citrusy quality. The flavor profile is similar to what you'd expect in an American pale ale, with bready sweetness up front and a citrusy hop character. There's also a mild tartness in the flavor, noted mostly at the back of the palate. White this beer seems to steer from traditional pilsners, it is a wonderfully flavorful beer overall, finishing dry with an assertive, lingering bitterness and a citrusy, floral hop aftertaste.
