American hops define the aroma, with kicks of pine and orange jumping from the glass, and light malt fragrances threading the aroma. Toasted graininess appears and disappears quickly on the tongue, before sugary caramelized malt pulls through the swallow. Citrus and peppery hop spice also glide cleanly across the palate, giving the brew a nice assertive bite, though the medium body and creamy mouthfeel make the whole sip smooth.
