Bootlegger’s ruddy brown look is both rugged and enticing, enhanced with a creamy, tan head. Smooth chocolate aromas entwine with tobacco leaf and earthy hop notes. Its chocolaty presence unfolds further on the tongue, coating the palate from front to back and picking up hints of smoke. Floral hops add bitter touches, but they don’t bite quite hard enough to match the beer’s overall sweetness. However, Bootlegger’s smooth carbonation and creamy texture do make it easy on the tongue. |
