Maredsous is a clear, amber brew with a massive, frothy head. It is an abundant display of sugary sweetness, alcohol, and ripe plum. The flavors are straightforward with caramel and roasted grains
in the beginning, followed by soft red apple and pepper spices. There is an assertive hop presence as well, with peppery and floral tastes and a bold bitterness that lasts a long time. This dubbel has a medium body and is highly carbonated with an assertive alcohol heat and a dry finish.
