This is a delicate mead, with a soft fragrance up front, like perfume, with a deep honey and orange bouquet, along with fleeting wafts of alcohol and spice. The flavors mesh well, with muted mint, fresh floral and herbal notes alongside stronger ripe nectarine and grilled peach tastes. Even with a heavy mouthfeel and hefty alcohol presence, this flavorful mead does not overwhelm the palate. Semi-sweet finishes dry and has a mellow alcohol and lingering spice aftertaste.
