ABV: 7.75%
IBU: 100
RATING
96
There is little wonder why this beer won the Alpha King Challenge in Denver a few years back, as it starts by pouring a clean, golden color with a big, foamy head. The aroma is so strong, you won’t need to put nose to glass; from inches away, you can smell floral and citrusy notes, along with hints of caramel. Starting with a light crystal malt flavor, which is gently caramelized, the beer has the support it needs for the huge grapefruit, grassy, dried flower, and resinous hop characters that follow. This is a medium-bodied beer, with low carbonation and subtle alcohol warmth. Deuce finishes dry and continues to show off hops well into the aftertaste, creating a truly wonderful drinking experience.
