This iconic IPA looks unassuming in the glass with its light golden hue and pillowy, sticky head. The first sniff of this brew, however, is something to behold. The aroma bursts with fresh hops that exhibit grassy, grapefruity and flowery notes. The flavor is not as powerful as the aroma, but is balanced and full. It starts with a soft, biscuity malt presence that quickly gives way to assertive hop bitterness and floral, grassy and strong grapefruit. Blind Pig is fairly thin, has little alcohol presence, and is incredibly drinkable for a high-hopped IPA. |
