Baltika No. 8 Wheat Ale
Weizen/Weissbier
ABV: 5.0% IBU: Unknown |
From a land wrought with bleak and dreary imagery, this cheerful hefe is a little glass of Russian revolution. Pouring cloudy gold, the beer emits sunny lemon, well-balanced bubblegum, gooey banana, and kicky clove aromas from a fluffy, creamy head. The taste follows suit: The banana melts across the front of the swallow while lemony notes dance around the tongue. There’s a touch of CO2 bite, but the beer’s still creamy and finishes dry. It’s simple and zippy with a lively lemon note that sings through the finish. |
