This deep gold brew wears a creamy white head that lingers like a slow drawl. Sweet citrus hops, grapefruit peel, and orange zest dance through the hop-laden bouquet, previewing the equally hop-tastic swallow. First, sweet malt makes an appropriately profound statement with an excellent stretch of caramel before spicy, zesty hops cascade across the tongue with grapefruit peel and citrus notes. Mellow bitterness draws this beer to a lovely conclusion with a lingering alcohol warmth in the throat. This IPA has a kick, but is also creamy, soft, and balanced enough to maintain drinkability. |
