Introduced this year as a new addition to Laurelwood’s year-round lineup, this orange, hazy, well-balanced brew wears a thin, creamy head. Subdued and pleasant, the aroma’s grounded by earthy hops that swell into fresh-squeezed orange citrus in the nose; just a sliver of caramel sweetness peeks through. Poised for widespread appeal, the beer flows easily on the tongue with a soft, creamy mouthfeel. Light caramel malts lend a sturdy base while caramel and candy sweetness jumpstart the tongue before grapefruit peel notes elevate the swallow. Bitterness tickles the palate throughout and lasts into the finish. |
