This organic brew pours clear, deep gold, and wears a frothy, cream-color head. The bouquet’s mild; a simple breadcrust scent sprinkled with nutty notes gently infuse the nose. The beer also makes a mild introduction on the tongue; a soft, sweet bready flavor ticks up to more pronounced citrusy, peppery hops and leans in for a bitter close. The swallow favors hops, but it’s still a simple example of the style with a medium-light body and clean finish. |
