This lightless brew is crowned by a thick, frothy, dark tan head. Creamy coffee and roasted malt perk the nose, reminiscent of your morning brew. In the mouth, this beer’s all about the deep, dark roasted coffee flavors: Coffee and hints of chocolate sink into the tongue as roasted bitterness propels the swallow. Hops present little in the way of flavor, but do donate a bitter kick that teams up with the roast in the back of the throat for a very dry finish. |
