Memphis may officially lay claim to inventing blues, but St. Louis is home to more blues musicians than anywhere else. Anheuser-Busch Brewery

As the nation's largest brewer, Anheuser-Busch has helped cement St. Louis' place in brewing history. Within walking distance fro its eponymous stadium the 100-acre brewery offers a tour that includes a visit to the brew house. Morgan Street Brewery

This city staple is housed in one of Laclede's Landing's oldest buildings and offers hand-crafted beers, including the popular Honey Wheat and Irish Stout, plus a maibock, Oktoberfest and altbier. O'Fallon Brewery

While O'Fallon Brewery is one fo the newest brewries in the St. Louis area, there's nothing amateur about it. Trailhead Brewing Company

With a name befitting St. Charles' rich history (the town was the starting point for Lewis and Clark's westward expedition), Trailhead Brewery is anything but typical. The Schlafly Taproom and Bottleworks

Schlafly Brewery has quickly developed quite the reputation for brewing excellence. Its adjacent brewpub, the Taproom, was the first brewpub in St. Louis, and its offerings include a hefeweizen, wheat ale and oatmeal stout.
