Prepare for this year's Oktoberfest with polka and leiderhosen, or just drink a pint at McGillin's Oktoberfest beginning on Thursday, September 2 where they'll be pouring Stoudt's Fest, Flying Fish's Octoberphish, and a multitude of local and international Oktoberfest beers. German cuisine will accompany the festival beers with dishes like-- mussels Steamed in Oktoberfest Lager served over Hay & Straw Noodles with German-Style Toasted Cheese Bread and Grilled Pork Loin with Sweet & Sour Cherry Sauce, Braised Cabbage and Apples & Potato Dumpling. The celebration will reach its peak with the Midtown Village Fall Festival where Drury street will become a giant beer garden full of german-styled beers and food, live entertainment and family activities on October 2.
