MICRO-BREWED BEERS, FOOD AND ENTERTAINMENT
100 percent of funds raised provide services to people who live with vision disabilities in Arizona

WHAT: 200+ specialty and micro-brewed beers from all over the Southwest and beyond combined with Arizona’s gorgeous spring weather, great food and entertainment can only mean one thing – Arizona’s Premier Beer Tasting Festival. The 22nd Annual Great Arizona Beer Festival is coming to Tempe Beach Park on March 6 and 7, 2010. Dedicated to the enjoyment of fine craft brews, more than 7,000 beer aficionados, Arizonans and guests attend this weekend-long festival each year to celebrate and sample some of the region’s most rare and exotic craft beers. As if that weren’t enough – 100 percent of the proceeds benefit Sun Sounds of Arizona, a free radio and reading service for people whose physical disabilities prevent them from reading printed material, such as newspapers, magazines and best-selling books.

Along with specialty and micro-brewed tastings, the Festival features live music, games, a variety of great food, and fun for people age 21 and over.

Tickets are $40 in advance and $50 at the gate for general admission, including up to 24 different beer samples, or $80 in advance/$90 at the gate for VIP admission. VIP tickets include entry into the “VIP Experience,” an exclusive lounge area with catered food, shade, VIP entertainment and games, separate restrooms, and other amenities. VIP’s may also enter an hour before the Festival starts and will receive a free event T-shirt and gift bag. Designated drivers receive entry to the festival for only $20, and have a special reserved lounge area, featuring complimentary massages, makeovers, healthy snacks, soft drinks and more.
