Cinder Cone Red is kicking off the New Year for the last time in 2010. Few people know that Cinder Cone Red has its own fan club. PYRCC is unpronounceable, but it stands for People For Year-Round Cinder Cone.

This January, we plan to throw a going-away party in Portland for Cinder Cone Red, mostly because the folks at PYRCC would just throw their own party if we didn’t. If you’d liketo help us bid a fond farewell to Cinder Cone Red and a hearty welcome to Red Chair NWPA, mark your calendar for January 5th at the Portland and Bend pubs. Details to come.
