Massachusetts homebrewer Adam Walsh's IPA took on nearly 200 challengers to win the Boston Beer Co.'s 2008 Patriot Homebrew Contest. "Adam's IPA is terrific," raved Boston Beer/Sam Adams brewer and founder Jim Koch. "It's not easy to brew an IPA that has a lot of flavor and maintains its balance, but Adam got it just right." Ticket holders will get their chance to score Adam Walsh's Patriot Homebrew IPA at the Sam Adams Brewhouse in the Patriots' Gillette Stadium, where it will be available for the entire 2008-2009 season. -Michelle McManimon
