Guinness Barbecue Shrimp

"A lot of recipes come from hanging out in my backyard," says Joe Monteiro, the force behind Miami's A Fish Called Avalon. Such was the case for this simple seafood barbecue, enlivened with honey, chili, cilantro and stout.
Serves: Serves 2-4
Ingredients:
- 10 fresh jumbo shrimp
- 2 jalapeno peppers
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 shallot
- 12 ounces Guinness Extra Stout
- 1 cup olive oil
- 3 tablespoons honey
- 1 bunch cilantro
- 1 tablespoon fresh chili powder
- salt to taste

Instructions:
- Set shrimp aside and blend remaining ingredients together in a blender to create a marinade.
- Coat shrimp in marinade
- Cook shrimp on a barbecue on medium heat for 3 to 5 minutes or until cooked
