Instructions:
- Clean chicken and cut into large pieces. Lightly season each piece with salt and pepper, and dust with potato starch.
- Deep-fry pieces in 345-degree vegetable oil for 5 minutes. Remove with a strainer, letting excess oil drip off.
- In a separate pan, boil fingerling potatoes in water for 8 minutes or until soft.
- In a large pan over medium heat, add 2 teaspoons of vegetable oil. Add in fried chicken, beer, and Coca-Cola and cook for 8 to 10 minutes until chicken is tender.
- Add sugar, soy sauce and potatoes and cook for another 8 to 10 minutes. Skim fat from the top of the pan; let the sauce reduce and thicken.
- In a small bowl, mix cream cheese, vinegar and white soy sauce. Pour sauce over chicken and serve.
